2) Liability to the Architect, Engineers and GC: California holds the builder liable for water intrusion on the building envelope for 15 years; Oregon state for 10 years; and Washington state for 5 years. We seek to diminish the liability to the Architect and designers of a project, by offering choices of solutions with long term warranties from the applicator and manufacturer
3) What is the floor reading (lbs. of vapor drive/1000sf): We offer Calcium Chloride testing, but please remember-these are a snapshot in time, not a guarantee that a floor coating will work. Vapor drive and moisture content in a concrete floor changes by the minute, and as the vapor barriers under the slab on grade fail; rot away or get punctured by vermin/trades during or after a project, they are most always subject to failure-sadly, untraceable.
Solution: apply a topical synthetic/water carryable Vapor Guard DC system that makes a mechanical and chemical bond to the concrete or wood; controls vapor drive to under 3lbs/1000SF; is impervious to salts; Alkalinity; efflorescence; PH; lime and other caustics in the concrete that is forced up from vapor drive-and is traceable for warranty reasons.
4) Can be applied within the first 3 days of a pour; thus enhancing the scheduling of all parties.
